I placed the 707x in the neck position and an 817x in the bridge and I have to say I really like the 707x better. The 817x is a little too shrill. It makes me wonder what pairing two 707x would sound like. I would definitely recommend 707x for anyone playing metal. It sounds better than my fishman fluence set also.
