These strings brought life back into my Gibson J-45! I started out playing the D'Addario EJ17 medium strings and then I moved to the EJ18 heavy strings. This was one of the best things I could have done! It drastically improved the tone of my guitar. I bought the NB1656 strings because I wanted to see how they would sound and I couldn't be happier! They bring out an equal blend… read more of bass and treble on my J-45. I am more than satisfied with these strings. Give them a shot if you are looking for something new, I hope you will be as pleased as I am.
