I am delighted with the Catalinbread SFT. It adds warmth and character to my very clean class-D amp. The SFT can provide anything from a subtle overdrive to a metric *-ton of distortion/fuzz. It takes pedals like an amp - actually makes my fuzz and distortion pedals sound better. Does it really sound like a tube Ampeg? IDK, but it sounds pretty great to me!
